Can Men Multitask????????

By lucy On Wednesday, August 22, 2007 At 6:16 AM

Warning: I am venting. I am by no means a man hater, just want to complain!!!

Can men multitask? I guess some can. But mine can't. I don't care if he reads this or not. Here is why I ask.....

As you know (if you read this) I work from my home office. I have a 17 month old little girl. When my husband is at work (24 hour Shift) I work a few hours, clean, cook, gym, take care of baby, pay bills, laundry, grocery shop, run errands, and just get stuff done. I try to do all this so when he gets home from work he can relax and spend time with his daughter. So yesterday (I am still sick) I got the house cleaned, started the laundry and went to work. I worked from 11 am to 6pm. All he had to do was watch baby. Why is this so hard. When I came out of the office, toys everywhere, the kitchen looked like it had exploded and laundry never finished. And do you think dinner was even started...NO..I don't understand why he cant do anything else but just play with baby. Does he think that when he goes to work I do nothing all day but sit on the couch and watch her????????????????????? How else would things get done. Oh yeah.. the magical fairy comes and waves her wand and POOF!! Magic

So after work...I made dinner, cleaned up , got baby ready for bed, put her to sleep and then I was able to sit down!!!

I don't hate my man...I just wanted to vent and he usually is a big help.. BUT I AM SICK!!!!!RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

LOL I think most men really think us work at home moms are not working and cleaning. They think it is just sooooo easy to do 50 things at once all day long.

In fact, I don't even think they believe we are doing so many things.

I keep stopping myself from doing a video recording of my day to show him. LOL - Ya think maybe I should actually record it? :)

OMG!!! You have totally just described my house and my hubby!!! I consider my hubby to be one of the kids, so I actually have 4... LOL.... His greatest excuse is (while I am showering, dressing, feeding the 3 kids and myself at once, getting ready to go out) ME:"can you put clothes on the bub please??" HIM: "Hang on can't you see I'm drinking my coffee!!!! PMSL... If I stopped moving every time I drank coffee the world would end!!!! At least us mothers appreciate each other... :)
